Supply" Fleet to Jamestown Virginia. "Sea Venture"
shipwrecked on Bermuda.
1610 - 150 settlers survive, build 2 ships "Deliverance" and "Patience" and sail on to Virginia with 100 settlers. Martial law declared at Jamestown. 1611 1612 - Sixty settlers arrive on the "Plough". Bermuda sold to the Virginia Company 1614 - The Virginia Company surrenders Bermuda to the Crown. 1615 Bermuda Company formed (Somer Isles Company) by English investors. 1618 - Sir James Lancaster, merchant adventurer dies in England and Sir Miles Kendall becomes Governor 1623 Thomas Hilton recorded as holding 50 acres on St David's Island 1629 Horatio Mallory married Dorothy Forster on Bermuda in 1629.
