Flights to England -
Hylton Castle is situated at Monkwearmouth, in the City of Sunderland on the North East coast of England. The nearest airport is NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.(NCL). There are excellent connecting flights from London Heathrow, Manchester - England, or from Amsterdam, Holland (AMS Schiphol) to NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL. (Newcastle is approx 270 miles north of London and it is often cheaper to fly via Amsterdam in Holland and pick up a connecting flight to Newcastle - approx 1 hour flight time)
An alternative route, avoiding London Heathrow, would be to fly direct to MANCHESTER AIRPORT and travel by train from MANCHESTER STATION to NEWCASTLE CENTRAL STATION using the scenic Trans-Pennine route. Train journey approx 3 hours.
Anyone requiring more information about traveling from the USA to the U.K. should contact Jerry Hilton at hilton@execpc.com
Flights should be booked direct over the internet and there should be a lot of cheap deals available for the first week in May so shop around - Summer Season rates do not normally start on the 1st June.
From Newcastle International airport, take either Taxi or Metro train to Seaburn in the City of Sunderland
You should plan to arrive at your hotel at Seaburn in the City of Sunderland in the afternoon of 30th April at the latest.
