Washington
Family Historical Society has been formed to to help family
members around the world to increase their knowledge and understanding
of their common ancestry. It provides a discussion forum for descendents
of the family to exchange information and help establish their lineage back to the family who took
their surname from the "Original" Washington in
England. As one of the oldest recorded families in the U.K. there
are now hundreds of thousands of descendents of the Washington
family, many whom no longer use the family name ( i.e. descended
from female members of the family). All who can prove their lineage to
the Washington name are welcome. We'll try our best to help you trace
your lineage back to the Washingtons of the "Original"
Washington, England.
